At the thousand-mu seed-production base of Teyan Seed Industry, farmers are busy harvesting rapeseed. The variety currently being harvested is a product of the company. The self‑bred “Teyan You 700” ， It boasts core advantages such as high yield, high oil content, lodging resistance, and resistance to Sclerotinia stem rot. It is tailored to the major production areas of the Yangtze River Basin and represents the culmination of the company’s more than ten years of dedicated research in rapeseed breeding.

Chen Jinlong, general manager of Mianyang Teyan Seed Industry Co., Ltd., told reporters: “This year, the ‘Teyan You 700’ variety planted at our base has grown far beyond expectations, with measured yields exceeding 200 kilograms per mu; in some high-yielding plots, yields have even surpassed 250 kilograms.” It yields more than 30% higher than conventional varieties, with an oil content of around 50%.
