At the indoor meeting, Chen Jinlong, general manager of the TeYan seed industry, introduced the company's situation in the breeding, production and promotion of hybrid rape varieties, focusing on the specific characteristics of eight rape varieties, such as Dadi 55 and Guanjun oil, and made a detailed description of the high-yield cultivation techniques of direct seeding and transplanting rape in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Zhu Zonghe, associate professor of the School of Agriculture of Anhui Agricultural University, gave a special lecture on "Technical Measures for the Occurrence of Low Temperature Freezing Injury of Rape and Disaster Reduction", explaining in detail the measures to scientifically deal with the low temperature freezing injury of rapeseed, so as to lay a solid foundation for a bumper harvest of rapeseed.

After the indoor meeting, the participants came to Xinxing Family Farm in Fengjiazhuang Village, Huangqiao Town, to observe a number of new rape varieties in the TeYan industry. According to Xu Jinlu, a technician at Xinxing Family Farm, direct seeding is used for rape cultivation in the observation field. The previous crop is corn. Due to the use of flying prevention, there is repeated application of pesticides, and pesticide residues have certain adverse effects on rape. Xinde Zyou No. 9 has 23500 plants per mu, with an average plant height of 1.57 meters, long siliques, large grains, 1000-grain weight of 4-5g, dense knots, 97 knots per plant, and a theoretical yield of 284.9kg per mu. In actual production, this variety has strong resistance to virus diseases and low temperature. As one of the main varieties promoted by the TeYan company in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, Dadi 55 has a plant height of 1.55-1.6 meters, an oil yield of 47%, a 1000-grain weight of 5.2 grams, a growth period of 205 days, early maturity, resistance to sclerotia, resistance to late spring cold, suitable for direct broadcasting, and a theoretical yield of 288.8 kilograms per mu. It is a variety with excellent comprehensive performance. The 15 plants of Zayou are 1.65 meters high, with an oil yield of 48.6, a 1000-grain weight of 5.4 grams, many branch knot angles, 550 effective knot angles per plant, compact plant type, potential yield of 350 kilograms per mu, medium resistance to virus diseases, and suitable for transplanting and direct broadcasting. Tianfu oil 188 has strong resistance to virus disease, moderate plant height, good test planting performance, 1000 grain weight 4.3g, theoretical yield 344.1kg per mu, is the "new star" of rape varieties ". The oil yield rate of the TeYan oil 700 is 48.19, the weight of 1,000 grains is 4.49g, and the theoretical yield per mu is 285.4kg. The variety has early flowering period, virus resistance, strong lodging resistance, and is suitable for machine harvesting. The TeYan oil 808 has a plant height of 1.6 meters, an oil yield of more than 48%, a 1000-grain weight of about 5 grams, and a theoretical yield of 302.3 kilograms per mu. This variety is a flower seed with a high oil yield, a selling price of 0.2~0.3 yuan/kg higher than that of ordinary rapeseed, strong low temperature resistance, and suitable for machine harvesting. The average plant height of the TeYan oil 900 is 1.57 meters, the plant height is relatively short, there are 116 node angles per plant, the oil yield is 47.9, the 1000-grain weight is 4.3 grams, and the theoretical yield per mu is 271.2 kilograms. This variety is resistant to sclerotia, has strong cold resistance, good lodging resistance, and is suitable for machine harvesting. As a key variety built by the TeYan seed industry in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, Guanjun oil has many branches, dense knots, large grains, a 1000-grain weight of 4.1-5.5g, and a theoretical yield of 300.8kg per mu. The variety grows well at seedling stage, is resistant to virus diseases, has good cold resistance and lodging resistance, is suitable for direct seeding machine harvesting, and has outstanding comprehensive characteristics.

In the process of observation, the participants constantly consulted and understood the specific planting situation of the demonstration field, highly affirmed the performance of rape varieties in the TeYan seed industry in terms of disease resistance, oil yield and yield per mu, and all said that they would continue to do a good job in demonstration and promotion, strengthen publicity, and let more growers understand and plant good rape varieties in the TeYan seed industry.
