　　Characteristic traits Plant type is semi-compact; the angle between the main axis and branches of the male tassel is moderate; anthers are light purple, filaments are purple; the ear is cylindrical, with yellow kernels that tend toward a dent shape; the ear stalk is white. In the two-year regional trials conducted by the Sichuan Province Science and Technology Corn Consortium in the Pingqiu group area of Sichuan Province, the average growing period for spring planting was 109.4 days. Plant height was 267.8 cm, ear height was 91.0 cm, ear length was 18.8 cm, number of ear rows was 18.5, number of kernels per row was 36.2, 100-kernel weight was 29.7 g, and kernel-setting rate was 87.1%. Kernel bulk density was 782 g/L, crude protein content was 9.4%, crude fat content was 4.1%, crude starch content was 72.6%, and lysine content was 0.28%. According to inoculation tests, the variety exhibits moderate resistance to northern leaf blight, southern leaf blight, and stalk rot, but is susceptible to sheath blight, ear rot, and smut.

　　Yield performance In 2018, it participated in the Sichuan Province Science and Technology Innovation Corn Consortium’s Sichuan Province Pingqiu Group Regional Trial, achieving an average yield of 588.2 kg per mu, an 8.8% increase over the control variety Chengdan 30. In 2019, the trial continued, with an average yield of 602.2 kg per mu, representing a 6.6% increase over the control. The two-year regional trial averaged 595.3 kg per mu, an 7.7% increase over the control. In the 2019 production trial, the average yield was 602.4 kg per mu, a 9.0% increase over the control.

The plant type is semi-compact, with uniform growth in the field and no lodging or bending. The ear is cylindrical, with yellow, flint-type kernels and a white cob. The ear length is 20.0 cm, the ear diameter is 5.1 cm, the bare tip length is 0.8 cm, the number of kernel rows per ear is 17.7, the number of kernels per row is 39.8, the weight of 100 kernels is 30.2 grams, and the shelling percentage is 85.4%. It exhibits resistance to northern leaf blight and ear rot, and moderate resistance to southern leaf blight, sheath blight, and stalk rot.

　　Yield performance In Chongqing Municipality, the adaptive trial yielded an average of 548.4 kilograms per mu, representing a 6.4% increase over the control variety Zhongyu 335.
