　　 Characteristic traits Plant type is semi-compact, with an intermediate angle between the main axis and branches of the male tassel. Anthers are yellow, filaments are light purple. The ear is conical, with yellow kernels of intermediate endosperm type; the ear stalk is red. In the two-year regional trials conducted by the Sichuan Province Corn Joint Research Consortium in mountainous areas, the average growing period for spring planting was 133.0 days. Plant height was 284.0 cm, ear height was 108.5 cm, ear length was 19.1 cm, number of ear rows was 16.6, number of kernels per row was 35.0, 100-kernel weight was 33.5 g, and kernel-setting rate was 82.7%. Kernel bulk density was 800 g/L, crude protein content was 11.6%, crude fat content was 4.5%, crude starch content was 70.4%, and lysine content was 0.31%. The variety exhibits resistance to small spot disease and moderate resistance to large spot disease, stalk rot, and ear rot, but is susceptible to sheath blight and smut.

　　 Characteristic traits In the 2022 introduction trial conducted in Guizhou Province, the average growing period was 134.1 days, 1.1 days shorter than that of the control variety, Guidan No. 8. The average yield per mu across the eight trial sites was 653.9 kilograms, representing a 2.7% increase over the control variety, Guidan No. 8. The proportion of sites showing increased yields was 62.5%.
